Dr. Chao is a board certified Pediatrician with over 35 years of experience. He graduated magna cum laude from University of Dusseldorf School of Medicine, in Dusseldorf, Germany in 1984. After moving to the United States, he worked as a research associate at the Institute for Gene-therapy, Department of Pediatrics, at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He then completed a Pediatric residency with SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn, before going into a private practice. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the National Physician’s Board of Germany and is currently licensed to practice in the states of New York and New Jersey.
